Wheelchairs

When purchasing a wheelchair it is important to consider yours or the users needs and circumstances, Is the chair to be pushed by someone else (1) or propelled by the user? (2) Their height? Weight? their hip to hip measurement for the seat width? (3)  and the length of time they are to be in the chair?  Will they need a cushion for pressure care? Is the chair to be folded and transported or will the user need to travel in the chair in a vehicle? (4) or is the user in a care home and has extra support needs? (5)
