These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales and all parties hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.

Mobile Mobility Ltd reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.

The new version will be posted on this website and will take effect immediately upon posting.

If you continue to use this website after the new Terms and Conditions come into effect, you will be indicating your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.

Ownership of Materials and Licence Terms

VAT Exemption

If you have a long term chronic illness or disability, you do not have to pay VAT on certain goods and services that you purchase in the UK.

In general, equipment that is covered by this scheme are products that offer practical help to you because of your illness or disability rather than being products that everyone may benefit from.

Products listed on our website have prices listed as Ex (excluding) VAT and Inc (including) VAT.

VAT Relief

Individuals who are chronically sick or disabled and are purchasing products for they own personal use or charities, where the products are made available to a chronically sick or disabled person for their own personal/domestic use (Charity Registration Number required), may be eligible for VAT relief. 

To qualify for VAT relief, you must ensure that the VAT Relief check boxes are selected at the checkout. You must complete the required declaration stating precisely what the medical condition/disability is. 

Assuming you meet the criteria, VAT will not be charged unless the product you are purchasing does not qualify for VAT relief. 

Please Note: It is your responsibility to ensure that you give accurate information and do not make a false declaration.  A false declaration may lead to prosecution.  Orders that are received without the necessary ticked exemption declaration will incur VAT charged at the current rate.

Completed VAT Relief Declarations by customers are accepted as prima facie evidence by Mobile Mobility Ltd that a valid medical condition or disability exists for exemption under the VAT Act.

No VAT will be charged on goods purchased where a product is eligible for VAT relief.

If, later HMRC disputes the validity of the medical condition or disability, you will be liable to pay the appropriate VAT that should have been applied at the time of purchase. 

Mobile Mobility Ltd reserves the right to demand payment of the VAT amount that is due.

The VAT shown in your shopping basket and at the checkout is meant as a guide. 

The final amount of VAT charged will be shown on the printed invoice you receive with your order.

What Counts as a Long-Term Illness or Disability?

For VAT Relief purposes, you have a long-term illness or disability if you meet any of the following conditions:

  • You have a physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect on your ability to carry out everyday activities
  • You have a condition that the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness such as diabetes or a heart condition
  • You are terminally ill

You do not qualify if you are elderly but otherwise able-bodied or you are temporarily disabled or incapacitated. 

You do not have to physically buy the good yourself in person. If your spouse, parent/guardian, carer or friend buys the goods or services for you then you will not be charged the VAT if the required VAT Relief declaration has been completed and check boxes selected. 

What Counts as Personal or Domestic Use?

Personal or domestic use means that the goods are supplied for your own private use rather than for business purposes.

However, due to continual development, there is always a possibility that some information could be out of date and, therefore, inaccurate.

Mobile Mobility Ltd does NOT give any assurances that the products available or provided to you on or through this website are suitable for your requirements and we accept no liability in respect of these products.

This website is provided free of charge. We make no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free.  We reserve the right to modify, suspend or withdraw the whole or any part of this website or any of its content at any time without notice and without incurring any liability.

Mobile Mobility Ltd monitors the content and activity on our website and will take any action we consider appropriate if we suspect you may be in breach of our Terms and Conditions.  Such action may include attaching conditions to, suspending or terminating your access and/or notifying the authorities or relevant regulatory bodies of your activities. 

Improving Our Service

To better tailor our services to our customers’ needs, we use non-identifying and aggregate information to help us make decisions on how to improve www.mobile-mobility.co.uk.   We may also share this generic information with our advertisers and other interested, reputable parties we have established a formal business relationship with.  For example, we may tell advertisers which areas of our website have received the most customer visits overall or, more specifically, how many customer types have visited certain pages.  However, we do not disclose the identifying information of individual customers nor do we use or share the personally identifiable information submitted to us by other means without providing our customers with the choice to opt-out or otherwise prevent such unrelated uses.

Promotional Offers

From time to time we may offer promotional discount codes or vouchers which can be used to reduce the price of selected products or orders or may offer an item free of charge when purchased with another specified product. 

  • These voucher or discount codes must be entered at the checkout for them to apply (Mobile Mobility Ltd takes no responsibility for failure to comply with this and voucher or discount codes cannot be applied after the order has been completed).
  • Only one voucher or discount code can be used per individual order.
  • Voucher or discount codes can only be used for orders made during the qualifying period that promotion had been indicated to run for. Any orders made outside this period will not be eligible for that promotion.
  • When making, an order using a voucher or discount code, you must ensure that the correct code is used. Failure to do so will result in the voucher or discount code not being applied.
  • Should an order to which a voucher or discount code has been applied be returned for refund only the final amount paid for the order will be refunded (less postage/shipping costs). No refund will be made for the voucher or discount code being applied nor will the value of a free item be refunded. However, if you are returning an item that qualified for an additional free item, the free item must also be returned.

Placing an Order

Mobile Mobility Ltd only accepts orders from persons aged 18 years or over.  We only accept orders from and despatched to addresses in Mainland UK.  It is your responsibility to check that your order is accurate before submitting it (Mobile Mobility Ltd accepts no liability for any mistakes made in the ordering process prior to submission).  When you place an order with us you will be making an offer to enter a contract with Mobile Mobility Ltd.   We will acknowledge your order, but we will not accept your offer or enter a contract with you until we despatch the goods to you and inform you that they have been despatched.  At this point we will have entered a binding contract. 


Occasionally, goods that are temporarily out of stock may be available to pre-order.   When you place a pre-order, payment will be taken in the usual manner.   If, for any reason, such as our suppliers no longer being able to supply the item(s) to us and we are unable to fulfil that order, we will contact you and offer you an alternative. Should the alternative item(s) not be acceptable to you, Mobile Mobility Ltd will refund the total amount paid. 


All prices on our website are in Pounds Sterling.  

All prices are shown both excluding (ex) and including (inc) VAT.  

Where a product does NOT qualify for VAT relief this is indicated on that specific item with the following message: This Product Does Not Qualify for VAT Relief         

All prices are for the products specified, this does NOT include any packaging, postal, transportation or insurance costs.  These costs will be shown in the final total on your invoice in the checkout process.

All prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via our website.  Where an ‘In-Store’ price is shown, this refers to the current price in our showroom.   Occasionally, prices and promotions offered on our website may differ from prices and promotions offered at the same time in our showroom.   We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion for purchases made on our website.  Similarly, we are also under no obligation to honour any online price or promotion that differs from an in-store price.  Special offer and promotions advertised in the press or another media may be excluded from our website unless specifically advertised as being available online.

All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last.

Postage, Packaging and Insurance(where applicable)

Postage and packing costs will be added to your order total at the end of the checkout procedure.  The amount charged will depend on the size and weight of your order and the delivery option you choose.  The amount of postage and packing you pay will be shown in your basket before you make payment and confirm your order.  When you order multiple items on one order, we may despatch the items separately, however, you will only be charged the postage and packing costs previously stated on your order.  Insurance may be charged depending on the value of your order.   Any such charges will be clearly shown in your basket before you make payment and confirm your order. 

Delivery of Orders

Items will normally be delivered within 14 working days.  Delivery timescales are estimates only except where you have paid for a ‘Next Day Delivery’ or any other premium delivery service (where available).  If you do NOT receive your order within 15 days of us confirming your order or the next day where you have paid for a ‘Next Day Delivery’ service or other premium delivery service, you should notify us and we will investigate why you have not received it.

Please Note: If your order is being delivered by our courier service it is your responsibility to ensure clear access is available for delivery.  Mobile Mobility Ltd will NOT be liable for any damage caused by inadequate access.

Notification of Errors

You should check the content of your delivery promptly.  If you believe items have been sent to you in error or items are missing which have NOT been marked ‘to follow’, you need to contact us immediately so that the mistake(s) can be corrected. 

Damaged or Faulty Items 

If you receive a delivery where there is obvious damage in transit you must confirm this immediately by signing the delivery note or electronic delivery confirmation ‘Damaged on Arrival’.   You MUST inform Mobile Mobility Ltd as soon as possible on the SAME DAY as the damaged delivery was received.  You must retain all goods for inspection.  If you fail to sign the delivery note or electronic delivery confirmation WITHOUT the comment ‘Damaged on Arrival’ Mobile Mobility Ltd will NOTbe held responsible for the damages.  You may be requested to supply photographs of the damage sustained. 

If any item supplied by Mobile Mobility Ltd is damaged or, within 6 months of receipt, develops a fault, you will be asked to return it to us for inspection.  We will then replace or repair the item free of charge or refund the price you paid for it together with any packing, postage/delivery charge paid.  If you paid for one of the special delivery options such as Next Day Delivery we will only refund the basic delivery charge that would have been payable for the item(s).

There may be additional manufacturers’ warranties with some products which give you additional rights and you should check this information carefully. 

Returning Damaged or Faulty Items

To return the damaged or faulty item(s) you must follow the instructions on the Shipping Note included with your delivery.

For small damaged or faulty items that you need to return to Mobile Mobility Ltd we would ask you to post the item back to us & we will refund you the cost of the postage.

For large, extra-large or high value items a collection will normally be arranged at no cost to you.

Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to a statutory ‘Cooling-off’ period which allows you to cancel your order for goods supplied from www.mobile-mobility.co.uk within 14 working days of receipt of the goods (certain exceptions apply).  Details of these rights and how to implement them are explained in the email we send you when confirming your order and in our Returns Policy.

Please Note: This right does NOT apply to certain items such as: 

  • Any item(s) that is made with materials that may be distorted if worn or may have been in contact with bare skin
  • Any item(s) that requires Mobile Mobility Ltd to provide a service before approving the item for supply. If this service has already been undertaken with your agreement
  • Any item that is made or customised to order 

To exercise your Right to Cancel you should follow the instructions in the Returns section.


Under the Distance Selling Regulations, your rights allow you to have the opportunity to inspect the item(s) received from us.  Unless it is absolutely necessary to remove any hygiene, seal or wrapping to inspect or assess an item, the removal of any such packaging shall be deemed to constitute a failure on your part to keep the item(s) in reasonable condition and you will be in breach of your legal obligations.  Under such circumstances, we are entitled to exercise our statutory rights in recovering any losses incurred in this respect.

You have a legal responsibility to ensure that the item(s) are kept in a reasonable, resalable condition and in your possession until they are returned/despatched to us.  This includes keeping any hygiene seals and clear plastic wrappings in place.


Once we receive notice from you that you wish to return your order, we will refund the purchase price for that item once we have received and inspected the item(s).  For further details please see our Returns Policy.


The maximum liability Mobile Mobility Ltd is legally bound to pay in the event of failure to fulfil any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.


Manufacturer warranties and Mobile Mobility Ltd warranties do not affect your consumer rights.  Most of our products are guaranteed for 12 months by the manufacturer.  Our warranties do not include any cover for the cost of hiring replacement product(s).  Our warranties only provide cover where you have used and maintained the produce as directed.   For example, our warranties cover personal use only and therefore, will NOT be valid where the product has been used by multiple users or for business use.

Insurance & Extended Warranties

Out of Stock Items

Mobile Mobility Ltd will always try to have sufficient stock available to meet demand, however, occasionally items may be out of stock or temporarily unavailable from our suppliers or may have been discontinued without our prior knowledge.  All items sold through our website are subject to availability.  If an item you have ordered is unavailable we will notify you as soon as possible, we will NOT send a substitute without your authority.   Therefore, we will contact you with details of a possible substitute, we will then cancel the original order and if you wish you can then order a replacement if you wish to. 

Secure Payment, Refunds and Fraud Protection

Mobile Mobility Ltd accepts online payments in a secure environment using the PayPal Gateway.  You can pay using your PayPal balance or credit/debit card.  This means that on any page where you enter sensitive data such as credit card details, the information sent to PayPal is encrypted to safeguard your details.  Encryption prevents other internet users from accessing this information.  By using this method of payment, you are also confirming that you are authorised to use the card or PayPal balance to make payment to us with regards to the items you have ordered, including any postage and packaging and/or delivery charges together with any other charges that become due to us under our terms and conditions. 

Refunds, where applicable, will only be made using the PayPal Gateway and will, therefore, either be made directly to the PayPal account balance used or to the credit/debit card used via that account. 

We have implemented several measures to ensure our website and your details are as secure as possible.  Mobile Mobility Ltd has no access to any sensitive customer payment information, these details go directly to PayPal to handle your payment.

In some instances, Mobile Mobility Ltd may need to contact you by telephone after an order has been placed on our website.  To ensure that we are talking to the correct person, you will be asked to confirm details of the order and answer some security questions.  Mobile Mobility Ltd will never ask you to confirm the password you use to log into your account.  If you receive a Mobile Mobility Ltd email which you suspect may be fake, discover a spoof Mobile Mobility Ltd website or anything raises your suspicions, please report it to us at: customersupport@mobile-mobility.co.uk and forward the suspicious email including the full headers to us.

Third Party Rights 

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to nor will it confer any benefit on any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 and a person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions has no rights to enforce them.


No delay or decision not to enforce any rights under these Terms and Conditions can be constituted as a waiver of the right to do so and will not affect any rights in relation to any subsequent breach.
