Road Scooters
6mph & 8mph scooters are road legal scooters & are designed for comfort & long-distance travel. They are classified as Class 3 mobility scooters & therefore require registering with the DVLA. By law they can’t travel faster that 8mph, must have lights, reflectors, indicators & hazard warning lights. They must also have a horn & rear-view mirror. These scooters must be limited to 4mph to be used on a pavement or footpath.
