They are designed for use in public buildings, on pavements & footpaths and as a class 2 mobility scooter they are not designed for going on the road other than where there is no pavement or dropped kerbs. These transportable scooters tend to have smaller batteries to help keep the scooter light, but this does reduce the distance they can travel.
